DHL Built for Complex C&I Environments
Designed for the specific demands of commercial and industrial energy sites.
Manufacturing Plants
High-consumption facilities with complex load profiles and production-critical power requirements.
Commercial Real Estate
Office complexes, retail centers, and mixed-use developments with high baseline loads and tenant billing needs.
Logistics & Distribution
Warehouses and fulfillment centers with refrigeration, EV charging, and variable demand.
Co-located DER Sites
Facilities with on-site solar, battery storage, and grid interconnection requiring coordinated control.
Agricultural Operations
Farms and processing facilities with irrigation, climate control, and renewable generation.
Industrial Parks
Multi-tenant facilities requiring aggregated energy management and fair cost allocation.
Energy Complexity Without Control
C&I facilities deal with rising energy costs, tighter grid constraints, and distributed assets that don't talk to each other.
Price Volatility
Electricity prices swing by the hour. Without forecasting and automated response, you're stuck reacting to prices instead of working them in your favor.
Grid Constraints
Connection limits and demand charges penalize peak consumption. Manual load management can't respond fast enough to capture savings.
Fragmented Assets
Solar, storage, EV chargers, and loads each run their own controller. Without coordination, they work against each other.
Missed Revenue
Grid services and market participation offer new income streams, but require real-time response that manual operations can't deliver.
Plan ahead, respond in milliseconds.
The cloud forecasts prices and schedules your assets. On-site hardware dispatches them in real time, even if the connection drops.
Strategic Optimization
- Day-ahead & intraday scheduling
- AI/ML load & generation forecasting
- Multi-asset portfolio management
- Market price integration
Real-time Execution
- Sub-second dispatch execution
- Multi-DER coordination

From Forecasting to Grid Services
Tools that directly affect your operating costs and revenue.
Storage Optimization
Schedule charge and discharge cycles around price forecasts, load patterns, and grid limits. The result: higher self-consumption, lower demand charges, and longer battery life.
- Dynamic time-of-use arbitrage
- Peak demand limiting
- State-of-health monitoring
DER Coordination
Control solar inverters, batteries, EV chargers, and flexible loads from one interface. Reduce curtailment and get more from each asset.
Forecasting Engine
Day-ahead EPEX price forecasts, plus weather-driven load and solar forecasts, drive every dispatch plan.
Grid Services
Day-ahead price arbitrage plus FCR, aFRR and mFRR balancing markets. Stack revenue streams on one battery.
Real-time Monitoring
See every asset, energy flow, and cost metric in real time. Set up dashboards and alerts for your operations team.
Compliance & Reporting
Automated documentation for regulatory requirements. EU grid codes, cybersecurity standards, and carbon reporting built in.
Purpose-Built for C&I Complexity
Most energy management systems started as residential tools or utility SCADA adaptations. WEM was built specifically for the challenges of commercial and industrial operations.
- 01
Hardware Agnostic
Works with any battery manufacturer, inverter brand, or controller type. No vendor lock-in, full flexibility in procurement.
- 02
Production Validated
Not a prototype. This technology has run 24/7 for years in demanding industrial environments.
- 03
EU-Hosted & Compliant
Self-hosted in the EU (Frankfurt). GDPR data handling, EnWG record retention, BSI TR-03116 cryptography, and a NIS2-aligned security posture.
- 04
Mission-Critical Heritage
Core technology runs in 110,000+ telecom and critical infrastructure sites that require 24/7 uptime.
20 Years in Mission-Critical Energy Systems
WEM's core technology comes from AIO, a company that has deployed energy management systems for 20 years across telecom towers, data centers, and other infrastructure that can't go offline.
That background shaped how WEM is built: redundant architecture, graceful degradation, autonomous failover, and testing under real-world conditions.

Common Questions
What is C&I energy management?
It's the software layer that coordinates a commercial or industrial site's energy assets, battery storage, solar, EV chargers, and grid connection, instead of letting each run its own controller. WEM forecasts prices and load, then schedules and dispatches those assets to cut costs and earn from day-ahead arbitrage and balancing markets.
Does WEM work with my existing batteries and inverters?
Yes. WEM is hardware-agnostic and connects to all major battery, inverter, and EV-charger brands over standard protocols like Modbus, OCPP, and BACnet. You don't replace equipment. WEM adapts to what you already have.
What happens if the internet or cloud connection drops?
The on-site edge layer keeps running on its own. It executes dispatch decisions in real time and fails over autonomously, so your assets stay optimized and safe even when the cloud connection is lost.
Which facilities is WEM built for?
Commercial and industrial sites with complex loads: manufacturing plants, commercial real estate, logistics and distribution centers, agricultural operations, industrial parks, and sites with co-located solar and storage.
How does WEM reduce energy costs and create revenue?
It shifts battery charging and discharging around price forecasts and demand charges, limits peak demand, and stacks revenue from day-ahead arbitrage and balancing markets (FCR, aFRR, mFRR), rebalancing intraday as prices move.
Is WEM GDPR and EU grid-code compliant?
Yes. The platform is built for European regulations from day one, with grid codes, cybersecurity standards, and GDPR data protection native to the system, plus automated compliance reporting.
Is the technology proven, or is it a prototype?
Proven. WEM's core technology comes from AIO and runs in over 110,000 telecom and critical-infrastructure sites, with 20+ years of 24/7 mission-critical operation behind it.
What does deployment involve?
Four steps: a site assessment of your infrastructure and energy profile, configuration of the edge controllers and cloud platform, on-site commissioning and testing with minimal disruption, then ongoing optimization against live prices and your site load.
How is WEM priced?
WEM works on a revenue-share model: you pay out of the value the system creates, not a large upfront fee. The exact share depends on your site, connected capacity, and which markets you participate in, so we scope it together during the free feasibility review.
How does market participation work?
WEM forecasts, optimizes, and schedules the battery, then delivers the plan to your aggregator or market platform for day-ahead and balancing participation. WEM runs the optimization; the market access runs through the aggregator, and we help you connect to one if you do not have it yet.
How long does deployment take?
Most sites go live within weeks, not months: site assessment, edge-controller configuration and install, commissioning and testing, then go-live. Registering for balancing markets can add lead time, which we plan for up front.
Where is my data hosted, and is WEM a European company?
Your data is hosted in Germany, on AWS in Frankfurt (eu-central-1), encrypted at rest and in transit, and it stays in the EU. The core technology and 20-year track record come from our parent company AIO in Israel; we are setting up a German entity for our European operations. Data handling follows GDPR and EnWG retention rules.
